Guidelines for Acceptable Materials

Because of our concern for the environment and in accordance with all County, State, and Federal laws enforced by the EPA and the Georgia EPD, we cannot accept certain materials as they are potential sources of hazardous substances.  More specifically, we cannot accept any material which contain items such as but not limited to the following:

Any material containing Asbestos or other contaminants Batteries or pieces of batteries Capacitors Garbage, Rags, Excessive Dirt and/or other Non-metals Gas Tanks, Propane Cylinders, or any item having contained flammable material Lead or Lead Based materials Light Ballast Oil and/or Oil Filters Paint Cans Radio-active Items Shocks Steel Drums, Barrels, Pails, and/or Buckets Tires
